Annual Pizza Kit Fundraiser - In Need of a Coordinator
The Booster Group is in need of a parent to volunteer to coordinate the pizza kit fundraiser. The fundraiser typically runs from mid-late January with distribution in mid February. This is a fun event and very popular with the community.

Annual Fruit Sale Results
The Florida Indian River Fruit Sale held in October 2012 was a success. A total of 197 cases of fruit were sold for a total profit received of $2,338.70. Selling students will receive $4.00 per case of fruit sold into their music accounts. We'd like to thank Maria Cefali for coordinating and administering the entire fruit sale. Many hours of work goes into this fundraiser and Maria graciously volunteered to take it on. We'd like to thank Sharon Knust, Treasurer for handling all of the payments and distributing money into the student accounts.
SIGN UP FOR KROGER REWARDS
The Armada Music Boosters has enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards Program. Every dollar you spend at Krogers can help support our program. ANNUAL RE-ENROLLMENT IS REQUIRED DURING THE MONTH OF MAY. This is a requirement of the Community Rewards Program.

- Simply encourage your members to register online at krogercommunityrewards.com
- Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy and register your card with your organization after you sign up.
- If a member does not yet have a Kroger Plus card, please let them know that they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
- Click on Sign In/Register
- Most participants are new online customers, so they must click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
- Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions
- You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
- Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
- Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.
- Update or confirm your information.
- Enter NPO number or name of organization, select organization from list and click on confirm.
- To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
- REMEMBER, purchases will not count for your group until after your member(s) register their card(s).
- Do you use your phone number at the register? Call 877-576-7587 to get your Kroger Plus card number.
- Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.

Behind the Scenes Expenses
Did you know it takes approximately $10,000 to 15,000 per year to subsidize the music department school budget to support the various music program at Armada Schools? Did you ever wonder where the funds are allocated from the Music Boosters? Well, there are many behind the scene expenses required to run these wonderful music programs. For example there are instructor fees for marching band camp, MSBOA marching festival fees, solo & ensemble fees, choir festival fees, pre-festival judge fees, musical score payments, musical instrument repair fees, special rewards for the students, cleaning fees for uniforms, replacement costs for concert uniforms, miscellaneous expenses associated with instructors and fundraisers to name a few.
We encourage all parents/students to participate in the monthly Booster Meetings and/or contact any Booster Member to become better acquainted with the inner workings of the music department.
