CHOIR
Vocals share the spotlight in the Armada Area School District Fine Arts Program.
Students study the vocal techniques that are the fundamentals of singing: posture, breath management, vowel production, consonant production, musical line, vocal flexibility and the ability to interpret music with expression and appropriate style. Students progress in each area of the fundamentals of singing through class participation and daily practice.
Concert Choir is open to all students with a desire to develop vocal skills. Emphasis is placed on ensemble performance.
Armada Chorale (HS 10-12) is the advanced level choir for students who are serious about choir performances and presenting an amazing vocal experience. This class will focus on overall performance improvement and learning detailed music theory and challenging music. An emphasis will be placed on a-cappella singing and sight reading.
